Delgado’s Princess Jazmyn (1997)

Jazmyn is my very special Dachshund. Jazzy is a little girl in a dog suit. She is my "talker", trying to communicate what she wants with low growls, soft barks, and waving her paw to put emphasis on her "words". She becomes more animated if you acknowledge her efforts and reply to her as if you truly understand what she is trying to say. She will even occasionally "speak" when asked to knowing that if she does, a biscuit or other treat will be her reward.

Jazmyn’s favorite pass-time is to lay out on the redwood deck and sun herself until her fur is almost too hot to touch. Then she comes in the house and takes a long nap on the sofa under a soft blankie.

Jazmyn is the daughter of Eliza-Beth and Nikolas. She inherited her mother’s excellent maternal instincts and her father’s insatiable desire for affection.
